Former Liberty Panther selected in MLB draft

Andrew Fregia of Liberty has been selected in the 13th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles. He was the 385th pick overall. Andrew Fregia just finished his junior year at Sam Houston State University. He plays third base for the Bearkats, although he does play other positions in the infield when needed. This year, as a junior, he hit .328 with 11 homeruns and 49 RBIs. Again, former Liberty Panther Andrew Fregia has been drafted by the Baltimore Orioles.
