Cleveland Homicide

On Sunday, at 1:07 am, Cleveland Police Officers were called to the 700 block of Lyle West Avenue in regards to a shooting.  When they arrived, Cleveland Police discovered a Hispanic Female, identified as Pamela Marquez (age 30) of Cleveland, lying in the front yard area with several gunshots to her abdomen.  The gunshot victim was transported by EMS to the local HCA Houston Healthcare Emergency Center; the victim died of her wounds. Cleveland PD Officers and Detectives are actively working the homicide scene.  The residence and surrounding area are being treated as an active crime scene as evidence is being gathered.  The motive for the shooting is undetermined as of this time.

Cleveland Police Investigators ask that citizens living in this area of the shooting to review any video recordings they may have regarding this time frame.  Someone may have the suspect or relevant activity on their security cameras and not realize it.  Anyone discovering suspicious activity is asked to contact investigators.   The Cleveland Police Department is currently being assisted by the Texas Rangers, Liberty County Sheriff’s Department, and the Liberty County District Attorney’s Office.
