Jingle Bell Ball 11 20 19

Liberty Elks Lodge is holding their 14th Annual Jingle Bell Ball – it’s a huge deal benefiting physically and mentally handicapped children, teenagers, adults and their families. It will be held at the Elks lodge from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 7. Each Pre-Registered Participant will get a gift from Santa.  The final deadline to register to attend is November 22nd. Only the first 200 reservations can be accepted. Sponsors can make contributions in any amount to assist in making this a real holiday extravaganza for special needs individuals from Liberty County and the surrounding area.  Most of the individual gifts cost $20 to $25. In addition, drawings are held for special gifts each hour, usually valued at $50. Volunteers are also needed before the event to decorate the Elks Lodge, wrap Christmas gifts, line up school organizations to assist with the party, and otherwise assist with the event.  On the night of the party, December 7, volunteers are also needed to greet guests as they arrive, to work at the photo docking station, to dance with guests, dress up as elves to help Santa pass out gifts, to serve food and refreshments at different stations, and to take photographs during the evening. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, a large number of elves and Frosty the Snowman will team up to hand out gifts to very special participants. Donations can be mailed to the Liberty Elks Lodge, PO Box 852, Liberty, TX 77575 . Make checks out to “Jingle Bell Ball.” For more information or to volunteer, contact Margie Poole at 936-334-2678 or Vernon Poole at 281-507-2796.
