CPD identifies man found dead back in February

Clevelandpolice have received positive identification of a man found dead back on February 3. Cleveland PD Captain Scott Felts said the man has been identified as 51-year-old Terry William Haynes. We reported back in early February that the Cleveland Police Department received a report of a body under the Loop 105 bypass just west of U.S. 59. Working with the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office, Cleveland police determined the man died of injuries he received in a fall from the overpass onto the pavement below. Investigators say it is unknown if he intentionally jumped or if the fall was accidental, but they have ruled out foul play. Again, that man has now been identified as 51-year-old Terry William Haynes. Forensic Medical Management of Texas and the Houston Forensic Center assisted in identification of the man.
