Big 12 Championship on FM 99.9

Saturday’s Big 12 Championship game pits the 9-3 Texas Longhorns against the Oklahoma Sooners at 11-1 overall. You can hear that contest here on KSHN FM 99.9 and online at kshn.com. The championship is a rematch of the Red River Rivalry contest that Texas won back in early October. That was Oklahoma’s only loss of the year. Since that time, OU has gone 6-0 while the Longhorns are 4-2 over that stretch. In the latest AP Top 25, Oklahoma is slotted as the fifth best team in the nation while Texas comes in at number nine. The Red River Rivalry matchup was an exciting game decided in the final seconds of play. Texas had a 45-24 lead going into the fourth period, but OU scored 21 straight points to tie the contest at 45 all. Then, with nine seconds left on the clock, Texas kicker Cameron Dicker booted a 40-yard field goal for the 48-45 Longhorns’ win. Now, the two teams will clash again, this time in the Big 12 Championship game that matches the league’s top two teams to declare a conference champion. Kickoff in that Texas versus Oklahoma matchup is this Saturday at 11 a.m. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. That’s the home of the Dallas Cowboys. The pregame show starts at 10 o’clock Saturday morning. You can hear all the action between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners on FM 99.9, online at kshn.com and on TuneIn Radio.
