Here is information on U.S. Postal Service mailing deadlines for pre-Christmas delivery. The last day to send packages by Priority Mail to most military addresses worldwide is next Tuesday, December 4. That’s also the deadline to get cards and letters to military destinations by Christmas via First Class Mail. The deadline for Express mail delivery in time for Christmas is Tuesday, December 18. Now, here are some non-military mailing deadlines. Those sending First Class Mail to locations in Asia, the Pacific Rim, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe or the Middle East have until Saturday, December 8. As for Priority Mail, the deadline to get delivery to Asia, the Pacific Rim, Australia and New Zealand is also December 8. Then, the Express Mail deadline for Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East is December 15. As for getting holiday mail to its destination before Christmas day here in the United States, the U.S. Postal service deadline for domestic First Class Mail is December 20. The domestic mailing deadline for Priority Mail is also December 20, and Express Service holiday packages need to be sent to U.S. addresses by December 22. For more information on sending holiday packages, visit the U.S. Postal Service website at usps.com or contact your local postmaster.
