Local teams in action for Week 10 of football season

It’s Week 10 of the high school football season, and KSHN and/or kshn.com will bring you all the action tonight from the Liberty, Dayton, Barbers Hill, Hardin and Hull-Daisetta games. Starting with Liberty, the 5-2 Panthers are on the road facing the 4-4 West Orange-Stark Mustangs. Liberty is 1-1 in District 10-4A while West Orange-Stark is 2-0. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at Dan R. Hooks Stadium in West Orange. Tune in to Liberty’s pre-game about 7:20 tonight featuring Joe Roberts, Neal Thornton and Ross Norwood. Turning to Dayton, the winless Broncos at 0-8 are at home hosting the Santa Fe Indians at 4-4 overall. Dayton is 0-5 in District 21-5A while Santa Fe is 3-2. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Bronco Stadium. The Dayton Broncos pre-game show with Larry Wadzeck starts about 10 minutes prior to kickoff on FM 99.9 and on kshn.com. When the Liberty and Dayton games begin here on FM 99.9, our split-channel sports feature kicks in. Liberty fans will need to turn their stereo balance control all the way to the left while Bronco supporters can hear that Dayton-Santa Fe matchup on the right side. Take note - no adjustment is needed for online listeners who use the Teamline link at the bottom of our homepage - kshn.com. There you can click on the team logo above the school name to select the game of your choice from the five we broadcast online. Also on kshn.com tonight are the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. They are at home facing the West Sabine Tigers. Hull-Daisetta is 5-3 overall and 1-2 in District 12-2A while West Sabine is 3-5 overall and 1-2 in league play. Join Dennis Warren on play-by-play about 10 minutes ahead of that 7 p.m. kickoff at Bobcat Stadium in Daisetta. Turning to Hardin, the 7-1 Hornets are on the road taking on the Buna Cougars at 6-2. Hardin is 4-1 in District 12-3A while Buna is 3-2. Kickoff is 7:30 tonight at Cougar Stadium in Buna. Join Dwight Pruitt on kshn.com for that contest. Also on kshn.com tonight are the 6-2 Barbers Hill Eagles at home against the Port Neches-Groves Indians, also 6-2 overall. Barbers Hill is 4-1 in District 21-5A while PNG sits atop the league at 5-0. That game gets under way at 7:30 p.m. today at Eagle Stadium in Mont Belvieu. On our website, click on the Eagle to hear Quinton Carter on the call. Again, kshn.com is your home for all this season’s Dayton, Liberty, Hardin, Hull-Daisetta and Barbers Hill football games. At kshn.com, just look for your team’s logo under the word Teamline at the bottom of our homepage. Those listening to Liberty and Dayton here on FM 99.9 – remember - Panther fans should turn your stereo balance control to the left while Dayton supporters can listen to the Broncos on the right side. Please note - because of the nature of split channel for Liberty and Dayton games, the online broadcast of those contests will have a superior sound without the bleed-over that may be experienced on-air. Don’ forget, Hull-Daisetta kicks off at 7 tonight while Liberty, Dayton, Hardin and Barbers Hill all get under way at 7:30.
