Valley Players present The Odd Couple

The Valley Players will present their production of The Odd Couple this Saturday at 7 p.m. and again Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Humphreys-Burson Theatre in Liberty. This work by the late Neil Simon premiered off-Broadway in 1965 but soon moved to Broadway for a Tony-winning run. Then, it was made into a film in 1968 and a television series in the ‘70s. Now, it will be performed by The Valley Players. Appearing in the title roles are Joe Roberts as the happy slob Oscar and his neat-freak roommate Felix is played by Nolan Myers. Both actors have appeared in several recent Valley Players productions.  Rounding out the cast as the poker buddies are Billy Thompson, Taylor Mayo, Everett Escobar and John Tellez.  Daisy Cary and Whitney Tellez play the Pigeon sisters. That’s The Valley Players production of The Odd Couple this Saturday at 7 p.m. and again Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Humphreys-Burson Theatre, 1710 Sam Houston Street in Liberty. Tickets are $10 each.
