Hull-Daisetta celebrating Homecoming this Friday

The Hull-Daisetta Bobcats will celebrate Homecoming this Friday night as they face the San Augustine Wolves in their district-opener. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium. During halftime activities, this year’s Homecoming queen and king will be crowned. Hull-Daisetta’s queen candidates are Megan Copeland, Gabby Lavine, Bailey Luke and Kylie Melancon. King candidates are Kelton Fenton, Matthew Lazo, Morgan Price and Hayden Whiddon. Homecoming duchesses are ninth-grader Sarah Taylor, sophomore Laynie Dryer and junior Autumn Champagne. The Hull-Daisetta Bobcats are part of the six-team District 12-2A, which begins league play this week. That district also includes the Deweyville Pirates, Groveton Indians, San Augustine Wolves, Shelbyville Dragons and Pineland West Sabine Tigers. Hull-Daisetta enters Friday’s game sporting a 4-1 record while San Augustine is 3-2. Again, the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats and San Augustine Wolves kick off Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium in Daisetta.
