TVE Baby Parade entries still being accepted

Entries are still being accepted for the 2018 Trinity Valley Exposition Baby Parade through this coming Thursday. The Baby Parade is this Saturday October 13th at 10 a.m. in Downtown Liberty. As we have reported, this year’s theme is “Song Titles”. Baby Parade Chair Jennifer Regen said, so far, this year’s TVE Baby Parade has 17 entries and there is room for more. The five baby parade categories are walking, riding, Western riding, small floats and large floats. Awards will be given in each category after the parade. An important note, there will be no outside traffic allowed in the parade route after 9 a.m. The closure will be from Main and Grand in Liberty to Main and Sam Houston, then from Sam Houston to North Travis, then back to Grand Avenue. Those streets will be closed to all vehicles that are not in the parade starting around 9 a.m. Motorists should plan on an alternate route. Children ages infant through kindergarten are eligible to enter the parade.   A list of rules and entry forms for the Baby Parade are available at the TVE Office in Liberty or link to the TVE web site from kshn.com. Entry fee is $20 per entry. Again the deadline for parade entries is this coming Thursday October 11th. That’s the last chance to enter the TVE Baby Parade, which will be on October 13th at 10 a.m. For more information, call Jennifer Regen at 713-540-3708 or Brittany Hudnall at 281-658-7932.
