This luncheon celebrates Administrative Professionals Day by recognizing the essential work of secretaries, administrative assistants, office managers, receptionists and other adminis-trative support personnel. Reservations are required, and tickets are $15 each. Make reservations before noon tomorrow by calling the Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber at 936-336-5736.

Easter Egg Hunt: It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning as a large crowd gathered for the 36th annual KSHN Easter Egg Hunt in Liberty Municipal Park. Kids 9 and under scrambled for 5,000 candy-filled plastic eggs plus the 100 prize eggs scattered about the large hunt area. Then, there were those three grand prize eggs. Victor Urvina was the first grand prize winner in line. Given the choice, he rode away on one of the bicycles with a safety helmet. The next big winner was Abby Lani Villegas. She picked the bright red State Farm wagon provided by local agent Victor Barranco. The third large prize egg was found by Pricilla Villegas. She also got a bicycle with safety helmet. Of course, none of this would be possible without our sponsors who pick up the cost for this annual hunt.
