DPD Chase: A Harris County man is in jail after fleeing from police in a vehicle Tuesday morning. Dayton Police Sgt. Eric Ibarra said it was 9:05 a.m. when Dayton Police attempted to stop a vehicle on FM 1409 near CR# 470 for a traffic violation. Rather than pull over, the driver of the vehicle reportedly sped away southbound on 1409. Dayton Police were joined by Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputies and Chambers County Sheriff’s Deputies in pursuing the fleeing vehicle. The high speed chase moved onto FM 545, then on to I-10 before exiting on to Garth Road and then to Wallisville Road. That’s where the driver voluntarily stopped and surrendered. Dayton Police Sgt. Eric Ibarra said 33-year-old Robert Eugene Nash II told officers he ran from them because he thought there may be some outstanding arrest warrants for him. Nash is a resident of Hockley, Texas. At last report, Nash remained in the Liberty County Jail awaiting bond on charges of Evading Arrest and Driving with an Expired License.

One attorney who specializes in real estate transaction law is Mollie Lambert of Cleveland. She said even if you feel certain the property you are planning to buy or sell has a clear title, there are some essential documents to have before completing a real estate transaction. She said be sure you talk to a lawyer familiar with real estate law or other areas of legal specialization where you may need help.
