Missing Woman Search: Texas EquuSearch was in Liberty County over the weekend conducting a search of the Trinity River for a missing Houston woman. We’ve reported the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, Liberty County Sheriff's Office and Texas EquuSearch are asking for the public's help locating 48-year-old Jennifer Ann Scott-Perkins. She reportedly has not been seen since leaving a friend's home in Shepherd back on Jan. 2. The last known location for Jennifer Scott-Perkins was when she made several phone calls from far north Liberty County in the area of SH 146 and FM 787 near Rye. Liberty County Sheriff’s Captain Ken DeFoor said, over the weekend, Texas EquuSearch used specialized equipment and boats to search the Trinity River. However, because of treacherous conditions related to flooding, he said the search was called off until conditions improve. If anyone has information on the current whereabouts of Jennifer Scott-Perkins or has any information regarding her disappearance, you are asked to contact the Liberty County Sheriff's Office at 936-336-4500.
