Daisetta Water: The city of Daisetta is asking residents to conserve water until further notice. Officials say a problem with the city’s water well has prompted the shut down of the Daisetta well. While repairs are made, the city is receiving water from the Hull Fresh Water District. Daisetta officials are asking their residents for a voluntary reduction of water use. That means cutting back on all non-essential water usage, such as irrigation of landscape areas, washing motor vehicles, washing down sidewalks and parking lots, or refilling swimming pools. For information, call Daisetta City Hall at 936-536-6761.
