The contract between the city and L.T.s allows the solid waste service company to exercise that rate increase following their first year of garbage pick up. With that change, Liberty City Manager Gary Broz said the average residential cost of garbage pick up will go from around $17.75 to $18.85 per month. That garbage service rate increase for Liberty residents is set to take effect February 1.
