Livestock Auction: Many call this the biggest day at the 109th TVE Fair and Rodeo – it’s payday for the kids exhibiting in this year’s Youth Livestock Show. The livestock auction is today at 12:30 in the 4,000-seat arena at the fairgrounds on FM 563. First, though, comes the buyer’s luncheon at 11 a.m. in the pavilion. KSHN will broadcast the Grand and Reserve Champion portion of the TVE Youth Livestock Sale. Auctioneer Brady Hanson will pound the gavel for bidding at 12:30. The freezer sale will follow today’s auction.

TVE Continues: The 109th Trinity Valley Exposition Fair and Rodeo continues through Sunday. The carnival cranks up at 6 p.m. today and continues until midnight. Tomorrow, those rides are spinning from 11 a.m. to midnight. The PRCA rodeo performance is at 7:30 p.m. both today and tomorrow. Following each rodeo, there’s a free dance with a live band in the covered pavilion beside the main arena. Tonight’s dance features Jamie Bergeron while Saturday’s live music is provided by the Rocky King Band. Then on Sunday, it’s Hispanic Heritage Day starting at 4 p.m. with a Hispanic rodeo, other special events and four different Hispanic bands performing until late Sunday night. There’s still plenty to do, see, eat and enjoy at the Trinity Valley Exposition fairgrounds today, tomorrow and Sunday.

Those listening to Liberty and/or Dayton on FM 99.9 – Panther fans should tune the stereo balance control all the way to the left while Dayton supporters can listen to the Broncos from the right speaker of their stereo radio.
