Liberty Jubilee: Liberty City Manager Gary Broz said the 32nd Annual Liberty Jubilee was a success with thousands enjoying Liberty hospitality. Friday night’s street dance featured country music star Tracy Byrd. Mr. Broz said Friday night’s festival-goers didn’t let the threat of bad weather dampen their spirits, and those who turned out said they had a good time. Although thunderstorms moved through south Liberty County late Friday and early Saturday, by the time Liberty Jubilee got going Saturday, the skies were clearing and the crowds turned out.
