Liberty County Sheriff’s Captain Ken DeFoor said the child was reported missing by his grandmother and then was found by his father in a nearby pond. Both Liberty County Sheriffs Department Sergeant’s Joel Davila and Chris Ungles dove into the pond to retrieve the child.
