DaytonWater Well: The Dayton City Council has approved a plan to build a new city water well in Rosewood Park.  Initial plans were to tear down the water storage tank following its closure in March for sand and silica infiltration, however, City Manager David Douglas said they have found the old tank is in superior condition and much larger than thought. The city plans to refurbish the old tank. In addition, another well will be drilled in that same area. In the mean time, the remaining well supplying the residents of Dayton is more than sufficient to serve the city’s water demands.
