VOLUME 27, NO. 144 TUESDAY, JULY 31, 2012 **************************************************** Wreck: A six vehicle wreck kept Highway 90 at the bypass in Liberty closed for several hours yesterday and sent one to Houston by air ambulance. City of Liberty Police Officer Jennifer Bowles said Harold Davis, 77 of Devers was taken by air ambulance to Houston. According to Officer Bowles, with the number of vehicles involved, it will take some time to conclude their investigation into the cause of the accident. **************************************************** Election Day: Today is Election Day for party primary run off races. Voters assigned to precincts #7, #12, #20, #23 and #26 will vote at the Cleveland Civic Center on Peach St. Voting Precincts #10, #14, #21, #22, #24, #29 and #30 all vote at the Dayton Community Center on South Cleveland. Voting precincts #4, #5, #6, #11, #18 #19 and #27 will vote at Heights Baptist Church on Jefferson Drive in Liberty. Voting for Precincts #8, #9, #16, #25 and #28 is at Rural Shade Baptist Church on CR 2274 in Tarkington. Finally, all voters in precincts #1, #2, #3, #13, #15 and #17 all vote at Moss Hill Pentecostal Church on SH 105 East. Voting is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today. **************************************************** TVE Membership Drive: The Trinity Valley Exposition is holding a membership drive Thursday August 9th at 6:30 p.m. Chairman Brady Hanson said it’s an opportunity to learn more about the TVE and the work they do with the community. Brady Hanson said there will be a short presentation, but mostly it’s a meet and great to learn about the organization from folks that are already involved.
